SMS non-woven fabric, the full name is spunbond-meltblown-spunbond three-layer composite non-woven fabric. The word "spunbond" in its name reveals the important component of this material-the spunbond layer. The spunbond layer is made by a spunbond process, which forms continuous fiber filaments through the steps of melting, extrusion, stretching and curing of high molecular polymer raw materials such as polypropylene. These fiber filaments are arranged in a certain pattern on the mesh curtain and reinforced by hot pressing or needle punching, and finally form a spunbond layer with certain strength and stability.
The spunbond layer plays a vital role in SMS non-woven fabrics. First, it provides the necessary tensile strength.
